Some of us enjoy working in the farm in a group or teaching gardening skills to youth while others indoor work parties (like gift-wrapping) where we can be crafty and creative, and be indoors!

As a new garden mentor I enjoyed working with the youth to expand the beds and improve the soil for spring gardening. A lot of sweat equity was required to break up the sod, remove the invasion of grass and weeds, haul it away, and add compost to the soil but satisfaction was felt by all.
